Training Program in Translational Cardiovascular Science

Training Grant and Program
The UW Cardiovascular Research Center houses a major NIH (T32) training grant, Training Program in Translational Cardiovascular Science, under the direction of Jonathan C. Makielski, MD, Professor, Medicine (Cardiovascular). This training program funds both pre and postdoctoral trainees interested in translational cardiovascular science.

The overall goal of this training program is to attract and train scientists in basic research so that they are capable of thinking, and in many cases working, "from molecule to bedside.”
