Research Training in UBART

Research training is set up during the organization of a multicenter trial, but also can be provided to individual sites for local studies.

Training is a day and a half long. Both physicians and sonographers are strongly encouraged to attend. Topics include the scientific rationale for use of UBART in a research setting, scanning protocols, training requirements for sonographers and readers, quality assurance, and instrumentation. Participants learn to perform and interpret studies. A significant amount of time is devoted to practicing scanning and reading.
